Monday was the night of the (no more British) Fashion Awards, celebrating fashion on an international scale at the rather gorgeousRoyal Albert Hall. Winners included Gigi Hadid, who took home the International Model award – which was presented by her great friend, Donatella Versace. Alessandro Michele was awarded for his accessorises at Gucci, whilst Sarah Burton picked up the award for Alexander McQueen of British Brand. The theme was all things pastel and pink, and the event was a fashion lover’s dream, with every and any fashion name (from Lady Gaga to MarioTestino) showing up in full dress. THE absolute night of fashion indeed.
On Tuesday Chanel’s Metiers d’Art show took place, this time at the Ritz Paris – also known as Gabrielle Chanel’s former home. Pharrel Williams was amongst an all-star to take to the catwalk (not just Frow) and celebrate the 13th Metiers d’Art show, and the fine craftsmanship of the Chanel ateliers.
Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow are leaving DKNY at the end of this year, meaning their role of Creative Directors is now open. The design-duo are leaving to return their focus onto their own brand: Public School; the pair, who have been with the brand since April 2015, commented;“given the company sale and subsequent change in strategies, we have decided to step down and focus on our own business. It’s been an unbelievable experience to work side by side with the wonderful people at DKNY, especially our amazing design team and atelier. We wish the company success in the future.” Fashion’s favourite game of musical chairs presumes…

The Victoria’s Secret drama, extended: after Bella Hadid’s quite awkward on-stage encounter with her ex-boyfriend TheWeekndat the fashionshow/lingerie extravaganza last Wednesday, the last thing anyone would expect would be a gushing Insta about her said ex. However, the model was quick to clear up any speculations that things were frosty between them, captioning her image:“Thank you @theweekndfor being the best and most incredible performer on the planet. You KILLED it, as always.” She also reassured everyone that despite her rather serious expression“I was smiling SO HUGE on the inside I promise!!!! The most fun and nerve racking experience of my life but I wish I could do it over and over and over again!!!!!” I don’t know about you, but if I looked that good whilst bumping into an ex, I would be very happy indeed.
Kate Moss is staring in The Wonder of You by Elvis Presley music video; working with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the iconic model certainly looks the part and is dressed in a rather stunning (and covetable) full-length black leather wide-leg jumpsuit.
