Rosie Huntington-Whiteley celebrated her 29th birthday by dressing up as a bedazzled disco diva and shoving (a tiered, highly decadent) cake in her guests faces. I don’t know about you, but that sounds like a pretty damn good party. Oh, and it was in Los Angeles, of course.

If the fashion industry had a favourite party game, it would have to be musical chairs. And guess who just got his chair taken away from him? It was confirmed on Tuesday that Francisco Costa is departing Calvin Klein in the brand’s effort to “unify all Calvin Klein brands under one creative vision”. Costa has been the woman’s Creative Director since 2004, and with CK ditching their men’s Creative Director too (Italo Zucchelli), there are even more speculations regarding Raf Simons reserving a chair at CK in this constant cycle of designers. Personally, I can’t help feeling a little sorry for designers at the moment. Everyone and anyone is being ditched and replaced, all in the effort for someone better or more lucrative or more influential. Haven’t we got to the end of the song yet?

There are many Vogue covers every month due to the wide breadth of countries that publish the fashion bible, but this is one cover you should most definitely know about. Vogue España’s May edition features seven of the new VS Angels gracing the cover, including Martha Hunt, Stella Maxwell, Sara Sampaio, Jasmine Tookes, Elsa Hosk, Romee Strijd and Taylor Hill. I appreciate not everyone is a fan of Victoria’s Secret, but this cover is truly beautiful – with ‘bare’ faces, tousled undone buns and white slips with straps elegantly falling off tanned shoulders. Each of the goddesses of course posted a comment referencing how “honoured” they were about the shoot.

A little extra VS news: the brand is considering scrapping their line of swimwear at the end of the year to focus on athleisure, due to it not being as successful as they hoped: “Swim has been my biggest disappointment, and we did it to ourselves,” ex-CEO Sharen Jester Turney has said previously. So if your holiday suitcase always comprises of too many VS bikinis, I’d be doing a mass-order pronto to ensure you’ll never be without them!

This week Prince died. On Thursday the musician passed away at the far-too-young age of 57. Tributes have been plentiful, including a billaboard on Times Square, a Rita Ora performance and about a trillion tweets/Instagrams. RIP Prince.

Don’t you just love rumours? Karl Lagerfeld has been the latest target of one when a US tabloid published this week that “He’s really tired. He’s not doing well and he’s ready to stop,” on Page Six. Apparently, the diarist at-hand Richard Johnson was told by a friend of Lagerfeld. Well, ‘apparently’ isn’t always correct (funny that) and Chanel was quick to rubbish the rumours, stating, “The rumours about Mr Lagerfeld discontinuing the collections and the cruise collection show in Cuba being the last are unsubstantiated.” I look forward to many more collections from Karl Lagerfeld (if he chooses to make them) and to see the many other fabulous ‘Chanel locations’ he will choose as the set.

Fancy visiting a ‘grown-up jumble sale’? Then call this number 07936449237. Pandora Delevinge (mother of Cara & Poppy) has set up shop in her London home for the next three weeks (by appointment only) with a wide range of treasures for sale. Featuring rails of eclecticism from her many travels, it features jewellery from £10 and clothing from £30. Hand-made necklaces and embroidered kaftans not your thing? That’s okay, Pandora is also selling some of her old Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana, McQueen, Burberry and Valentino. I CANNOT wait.

Would you like to know who the ‘world’s most beautiful woman’ of 2016 is? Well, according to People magazine, it’s Jennifer Anniston (no introduction required). She was previously awarded the title in 2004 and revealed it was a “very excited, teenage-y kind of moment”.

Balenciaga is launching its debut menswear collective under the creative direction of newbie Demna Gvasalia (AKA Vetements co-founder). The spring 2017 offering will be shown during Paris Men’s Fashion Week on June 22, so mark your calendars if you want to be the first to see some Balenciaga checked blazer action – tailored to the male form this time.

RANDOM FACT: Jourdan Dunn is launching a cookbook, and – as a she has previously hosted an internet cookery show called ‘Well Dunn’ and she’s a “real spice fiend, so I love Thai food and south Asian food,” – expect some good (and delicious) things to come.
