Ever envied Alexa and Cara for having a Mulberry named after them? Then you’re about to get a lot more jealous to discover that Blake Lively’s daughter: James (who is eight months old) has had a newly released custom-made leather baby bag named after her. The James bag is available in shades of red and blue for $860 and can be purchased on the actresses’ lifestyle website: Preserve.
On Monday, Karlie Kloss posted a new video on her channel: Klossy and it was her best vlog yet! The super-nice-super-model surprised two teenage girls by granting their wishes to become supermodels for a day for the Make A Wish Foundation, which involved everything from full hair and makeup to their very own Victoria’s Secret angel wings. If you haven’t seen it yet, you should… #sosweet
Roksanda Ilincic has created a special anniversary collection entitled “10 Years, 10 Dresses” to celebrate 10 years of her eponymous label. Exclusively sold at Harvey Nichols, the collection features 10 of her favourite styles from her collections of the last decade. “It felt fitting to revive some of my favourite dresses from past collections and breathe new life into them, including the Margot dress from Spring/Summer 2012”, said Ilincic. With colour-blocking, drapes and elegant silhouettes, this is going straight on my wish list!
This years’ VMAs were the host of a few on-stage bitchy back-and-forths, a classic Miley Cyrus outfit (featuring minimum material and maximum skin) and a Bad Blood crew re-group. Swifty posed on the red carpet (wearing a risky sequined ensemble that only she could pull off) with her entourage, which included: Martha Hunt, Hailee Steinfeld, Gigi Hadid, Serayah McNeill, Lily Aldridge, Mariska Hargitay and Karlie Kloss.
Major news: Givenchy is opening its newly located New York show to the PUBLIC! The design house is inviting 1,200 non-industry non-celebrity people, of which 800 have already been chosen through an online first-come first-serve sign up, to attend. Look out for more opportunities to grab a ticket (to a show which has been previously attended by Kim Kardashian, if you like her…) nearer the date. No longer the intimate Parisian affair we’re used to, watch out for major media coverage on the day of the show. So, have you got a ticket?
Shimmering sequins, a fantastically frivolous amount of feathers, towering headdresses and belly button piercings – oh, and of course, a day of crazy-amazing music. All of which add up to the Notting Hill Carnival Parade, which happened last weekend. Perfect fashion-collection inspo or what?
On Friday, proud mum Victoria Beckham shared the cover of Miss Vogue’s October 2015 issue, which stars her oldest child, Brooklyn, alongside model Adrienne Jüliger, on her Instagram. I wonder exactly how many copies VB will be buying… (I’m guessing a lot).
You’ve heard of VS angels, but what about VS sister angels? With Gigi Hadid becoming the face of the brand’s little sister brand Pink earlier this year (fronting campaigns with fellow-newbie and blonde bombshell Rachel Hilbert), and her little sister now working for the brand, it’s definitely a possibility. Matchings panties and wings? We’re counting on it. #sistergoals
On Sunday, Kristen Stewart was pictured with bare feet (shock horror!) after having kicked off her silver Christian Louboutin heels at the screening of her new film, Equals, at the Venice Film Festival – consequently sparking a ream of news reports questioning the shoe, its comfort, and the designers next actions regarding the issue.
The newly released Sergio Rossi Green Carpet collection (comprising butterflies and Italian silk yarns) means richies can now shoe-shop with peace of mind. With all elements of the collections sustainability having been taken into account, the shoes and clutch are adorned with: lead-free Swarovski Advanced crystals, chrome-free leather and wooden frames that are Forest Stewardship Council-certified. Created in conjunction with Eco-Age, Livia Firth is especially delighted, saying, “For the very first time, we now have a complete Green Carpet Challenge look – head to toe!”
On Wednesday, an image of a man was taken, in which he was holding up a sign saying ‘Help Syrian’ at the Keleti railway station in Budapest – where refugees and migrants are gathering as pressure is increasing on European governments to help those in crisis. Where do you stand on the matter?
Karlie Kloss (her again!) experienced that first day feeling on Wednesday, sharing a picture on Instagram of her first day at New York University with the caption, “I haven’t been this nervous in years! #firstdayofschool”. Go Karlie!
