However, many larger women find it hard to feel themselves in the clothes that are available in retail shops, as they are usually old fashioned and shapeless, falling drastically behind the trends and what is fashionable at the time. Sure, we have seen a huge increase in sale for Evans, and have seen places like New Look expanding their sizes to a size 24.  But is it enough? It is clear by this that there are more woman in society who are bigger than an ideal size 10, than there are who are smaller so it is about time that retail stores recognised that the average woman is a size 12-14, not what graces the cover of Vogue. The bigger clothing market needs a change and I have found just the people to help this change develop.
