Williamson launches new collection ‘MW’ for my-wardrobe.com



Back in1997 Matthew Williamson debuted at London Fashion Week with a collection named ‘Electric Angels’ where models Jagger, Christensen and Moss walked the runway in an explosion of colour , and set the tone for the future of Matthew’s label.

Yesterday, the English fashion designer launched his new collection titled ‘MW’ for fashion savvy my-wardrobe.com. The new diffusion line features wearable evening wear and outerwear with luxury prints and incredible embellishment. Look out for leopard 60s inspired shifts and stunning beaded accessories, with a touch of signature Williamson. At a fraction of the cost of his couture creations, this collection is sure to be a hit with the style hunting fashionistas and bloggers around the world.

The Buying/Merchandising Director at my-wardrobe.com commented on the collaboration by saying “The collection stays trued to Matthew’s signature aesthetic, but at an accessible price point”.

Think less extrovert/artistic catwalk pieces and more womanly cocktail dresses with excellent quality fabrics and cuts. Aimed at a slightly younger audience the designer explains that the items are for “having fun in”.
