01-05-2012
ASOS are 4 year patrons of The Prince’s Trust and are working with them to help teach young people about the fashion industry and skills needed to work within it.
Young people from ASOS and The Prince’s Trust
The visit to The Fashion Studio was part of a host of fashion related activities that ASOS and The Prince’s Trust were running; from Marketing and CV writing to customising outfits. At The Fashion Studio, there was the opportunity to speak to and learn from Fashion Director, Jenny Holloway about the company, to learn about education within the fashion industry with Fashion Enter’s Apprenticeship Programme and to also learn about different aspects of fashion design, from menswear to print design. Big Brother star, Maisy James, was also there to talk about her up and coming fashion range.

Sophie Mamillan from The Prince’s Trust commented, “Thank you for a fantastic day last week! It was great to meet so many different people from different aspects of the industry and also at different stages in their journey with the fashion industry. A really interesting insight! The group left the week full of passion and energy to get on with their own journeys within the industry.”
