21-02-2013

Stitch’s recent AW13 show at the Business Design Centre was a great success with a dramatic footfall increase amongst key buyers and press. “We’ve delivered the most focused show over the 3 seasons at the BDC. Attendance over the 2 days was up overall by 18% and buyers attendance increased by 38%. The midweek date line delivered a brisk visitor foot flow and order writing was reported to be busier than anticipated. All visitors were very positive about the look and feel of the show and the collection of brands on offer.” Brian Duffy; MD Stitch London

After three great seasons at the Business Design Centre, Stitch will be launching its newly formatted Stitch London show at the Sorting Office, 21-23 New Oxford Street WC1, space managed exclusively by Location House. The show will be held on the 23rd & 24th of July in keeping with the new mid week dateline. This move to the new space signifies the shows continued growth and successful expansion.

Stitch menswear trade show has been renamed as Stitch London in keeping with the cultural and fashion relevance of its original hometown. Stitch London will have four clear sections; Menswear, Womenswear, Streetwear and Emerging. Each area will boast a carefully selected range of brands that showcase the best in the market. The usual high calibre menswear, streetwear and emerging brands will be on show along with the new addition of womenswear brands within a dedicated women’s section focusing on youthful, fast fashion. Managing Director Brian Duffy comments on the new location and move into womenswear…

“Entering into our 8th season Stitch has been going from strength to strength. This latest move brings Stitch to be hosted in one of central London’s most iconic and industrial spaces “The Sorting Office”. An opportunity to develop the show and its branding in line with the launch of our new area of young womenswear and bring together our ever growing street wear area. Our principle goals for our new womenswear area is allow our existing brands to include their womenswear collections and also to attract new exhibitors who fit the requirement of a young 16- 25 consumer. We have set achievable targets for our young womenswear area and we are excited to extend the show. We have been ambassador’s for the last 7 seasons for the UK menswear industry and are proud to rebrand Stitch to include London and drive the UK wholesale business with the UK and internationally.” Brian Duffy; MD Stitch London
