Ian Dyson, who previously worked as the finance and operations director at Marks & Spencer has taken on the role and is currently working as a non-executive director at Betfair and Punch Taverns is receiving high expectations from his future colleagues. Chairman of ASOS, Brian McBride commented on the new recruit saying;
“Ian brings a new perspective to and already experienced non-executive team.”
Saying he was highly welcomed into the ASOS Brand, Dyson is scheduled to start in October.
Described as having a wealth of experience, and strong understanding of the retail industry and technology, Ian is joining the huge online retailer, who this year revealed a 45% surge in quarterly sales. His new role comes not long after executive director Kate Bostock, another former M&S employee, stepped down from her position after just 7 months.
