James Hart Resigns As ASOS Director

One of the first employees alongside founder Nick Robertson in 1999, James is set to leave later on this year.

Nick Robertson commented on the resignation of Hart, saying “From day one, and it was literally day one, James has consistently embodied the ASOS spirit with his enthusiasm for the ‘next thing’.”

Robertson commented further that James’ ‘idea-driven approach’ and ‘never-ending focus’ was what helped in making ASOS such a successful company. Constantly keeping the brand at heart, Hart was responsible for ASOS Marketplace and many of ASOS’ other customer facing initiatives.

Hart is currently on a six-month notice and plans to continue in working with consumers. He hasn’t yet confirmed a new role.
