One of Britain’s most loved and extravagant fashion designers, Vivienne Westwood has combines forces with The Cambridge Satchel Company to design a limited collection of satchels.
The collection includes 3 different colours in 2 different sizes; the classic satchel design has been combined with Westwood’s ionic squiggle print. The bags resemble the work of Westwood’s A/W 1981 Pirate collection. With the pale straps and buckles resembling the reowned style in the ’81 collection.

The Cambridge Satchel Company founder, Julie Deane said: “I could not feel more excited to announce the collaboration of Vivienne Westwood and The Cambridge Satchel Company. Vivienne Westwood is an iconic British designer with a strong ethical base and I am incredibly proud of the association.“
The Cambridge Satchel Company, which rose to fame after the help from the Google Chrome advert and numerous celebrities taking a liking to the bag styles help in Deane’s business bloom.
The business which started out in Deane’s kitchen was after her children wanted bags which resembled those in the Harry Potter movies. Today the company has a shop in Covent Garden in London and a store in Rose Crescent Cambridge, as well as many collections in larger stores such as Paperchase, Harrods and Selfridges.
Vivienne Westwood’s design team commented on the collaboration, adding: “We are very pleased to be working with The Cambridge Satchel Company for this collaboration. Their satchels are nostalgic and fun and make the perfect canvas for our squiggle print”
