Fashion – Enter Ltd SMETA Approved 2022
26-04-2022
SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) is the most widely used social audit in the world. SMETA is Sedex’s social auditing methodology, enabling businesses to assess their sites and suppliers to understand working conditions in their supply chain.
On the 6th April SMETA auditor Peter Warbrick spent a full day at Fashion-Enter Ltd’s factory and HQ in Haringey, north London going through the company’s labour standards and health and safety.
Fashion-Enter Ltd has been SMETA audited in the past and we are pleased to announce that the audit went extremely well. The auditor had nothing to add to the corrective action plan and was fully satisfied that:
- Excellent human resource policies and practices are in place.
- A site tour concluded that robust measures to ensure workers’ health and safety are being adhered to
- And that all Fashion-Enter Ltd workers receive wages well above the legal minimums.
The SMETA Best Practice Version 6.1 (March 2019) was applied. The scope of workers included all types at the site e.g. direct employees, agency workers, workers employed by service providers and workers provided by other contractors.
This is excellent news for Fashion-Enter Ltd and TJ Hussein, Fashion-Enter Ltd’s HR & Compliance Officer.
