Support Ethical Brand ‘Boy Wonder’ Via Their Kickstarter Launch Campaign
05-07-2019
The Fashion Enter team have been fortunate enough to work with the talented and driven Ismay Mummery on her ethical start-up brand ‘Boy Wonder’. Ismay, a fashion and print designer, is passionate about the environment and sustainable fashion and since becoming a mum she noticed a gap in the market. Inspired by her son her brand features stereotype-free colours and prints in sustainable fabrics produced right here at Fashion Enter’s Factory in North London. The brands’ tagline is: ‘A premium ethical boys brand with ethics and sustainability at its heart.’
The collection has everything a child needs (age 5-10) across the seasons, from organic t-shirts to hardwearing organic denim and smart wool duffle coats. The wool melton for the duffle coats is woven in Yorkshire by a company with over 150 years in the industry, the cotton drill is made in Lancashire and the jersey is made in Leicester.
Each garment in the launch range is bright and fun and has a hand drawn print inspired by Ismay’s childhood and British heritage from fish and chips to jelly and ice cream.
Working on the production side with Fashion Enter Ismay said: “Fashion Enter have been a great source of support, advice and skills in helping me put together my first commercial collection. I couldn’t have done it without them, but most importantly they really believed in me and what I am trying to achieve with the brand.”
You can view the Boy Wonder launch collection and back this brand on Kickstarter now until Sunday 14th July 2019. Starting a new low impact and ethical fashion brand is extremely difficult and Ismay needs as much support as possible to move the brand onto the next stage. Share the campaign and pre-order and support the future of Boy Wonder.
