10th Midlands Fashion Awards Finalists Announced

ANNIVERSARY MIDLANDS FASHION AWARDS WEBLaunched by Jenny Eason a decade ago this year’s awards is scheduled to take place at the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, CBSO Centre in Birmingham on Friday the 20th October 2017 and will be hosted by Capital FM’s Katy Poulsom.
Over the past three months the MFA team have been inundated with online applications and held a successful Open Call event with the judges.

Commenting on the calibre of this year’s applicants MFA founder Jenny Eason said:

“The Midlands Fashion Awards will bring together independent and emerging fashion designers and creative talent from across Birmingham, Coventry, Derby, Leicester, Northampton, Staffordshire and Wolverhampton all under one roof at the most stylish fashion event of the year. We have had the pleasure of previewing some of the entries received and the standard has been incredibly high, we once again look forward to promoting the wealth of talent from across the region.”

This year’s judges comprise of: Jenny Eason, Founder & Managing Director of Midlands Fashion Awards, Debra Hepburn, Founder & Managing Director of Young British Designers, Andrew Riley, Editor in Chief at Style Birmingham Magazine, Mike Raven, Creative Director at Style Birmingham Magazine, Matthew Roden, Tailoring Specialist at Clements and Church Ltd, Jules Cardozo-Marsh, Professional Make-up Artist, Laura Hannon Founder/Managing Director at TheCentral School of Make-up and Professional Make-up Artist Kellie Licorish.
