Three Luxury Brands Awarded Prestigious Butterfly Mark
Three fashion and accessory brands have just been announced as the latest luxury brands to be awarded the prestigious Butterfly Mark powered by Positive Luxury.
Positive Luxury awards the Butterfly Mark, a unique interactive trust mark, to luxury lifestyle brands which take pride in their craftsmanship, service and design, care for their employees, suppliers and work hard to protect our planet.
In partnership with its sustainability council and external institutional partners, Positive Luxury has designed a rigorous assessment process that evaluates companies across the following five areas: governance, social framework, environmental framework, philanthropy and innovation. The assessment is updated annually, and every brand that has been awarded The Butterfly Mark has successfully gone through this process.
The three new proud recipients of the Butterfly Mark are:
Ally Bee, which specialises in stylist knitwear crafted from the fleece of British sheep and Alpaca and grown, spun and knitted in Britain.
Chartwellandg, the luxury resort wear brand which believes that luxury should be synonymous with integrity.
Pembe Club, which crafts limited edition jewellery using a combination of African and contemporary elements and works to support the work of organisations which protect the African elephant, have all been recognised as forward thinking businesses with a focus on helping consumers make positive purchasing decisions.
Diana Verde Nieto, co-founder and CEO of Positive Luxury explains:
‘We are delighted to have Ally Bee, Chartwellandg and Pembe Club on board with us. They are ambitious brands which recognise that they can make a significant contribution to changing the perception of positive purchasing. It also shows that they recognise that consumers are, and will continue, to choose brands partly based on their commitment to making a difference.’
