FASHION HAS A NEW VOICE
As part of his 2005 Black History Season, the Mayor of London is establishing a high profile initiative aimed at celebrating, showcasing and promoting the artistic and creative talents of London’s Black African and Caribbean fashion designers.
KULTURE2COUTURE is an exciting new initiative that will help designers to:
· Position their products and companies;
· Gain major exposure to an influential audience;
· Build and position their companies through trade and networking opportunities;
· Access new markets and audiences;
· Develop and strengthen their business skills and knowledge through industry-led workshops and major business leads; and
· Achieve their economic, social and cultural potential.

The KULTURE2COUTURE formula comprises five key themes:
VISUAL - Catwalk shows featuring headline designers, newcomers and the ones-to-watch
TRADE - A combined trade fair and marketplace showcasing London’s creative talent – fashion designers of all ages, providing inspiration and a creative vision for all tastes and styles!
KNOWLEDGE - A range of industry workshops aimed at providing aspiring designers and creative artists with the information they need to succeed.
ACCESS - Fashion is for everyone. K2C provides you with an opportunity to not only engage with the fashion industry, but also talk about fashion.
INSPIRATION - Learn from the best. A series of master classes designed to motivate, pass on wisdom and inspire.
