Re:Help !!! 1 Year ago
Hello Maia,

Thank you for your email, I have checked out your website and your handmade jewellery is beautiful and very unique, just what we look for in new designers to stock in our Boutiques. We currently have two Boutiques located in Croydon and Barking. You should speak to our Retail manager, Hayleigh Amos on 020 8681 5014 about selling your products in both stores.

Fashion Enter also offers a PR Dispensary service whereby you send a few images of your products and some text to jenni@fashion-enter.com who then creates a Press Release which is then distributed to our data_base_ of retailers, stockists and buyers. Jenni is currently on holiday at the moment and will return in the new year.

A Representing Agency is also available through Fashion Enter, again using our large number of contacts in the industry we can do our best to find stockists best suited to your product(s).

Another way we can help you is to advertise you on Fashion Capital for free, if you write a profile about yourself, approx 200 words with a picture we can post you on our profile section under news.

I look forward to working with you in future,

Kind Regards

Emily Tullett

Help !!! 1 Year, 1 Month ago
Hi

I am a jewellery designer.I work with mixed media - beads, freshwater pearls, gemstones, crystals, wire etc - for my designs. I use the best materials for my creations and I never repeat designs. All my designs are handcrafted by me and the quality of finishing is very neat and professional. I make jewellery since I was 12 years old... that should amount to about 28 years now ! I have got very good feedback on my work but I have a great difficulty in selling my items. I have a disability (limited mobility) and that is very restrictive in accessing shows or shops.

I am looking for any piece of information on how to get an agent or ensure a contract with an outlet or find a sales person/representative. I have not incorporated a company yet - I am a sole trader.

I really need to generate sales but I have no idea how to do that. I have no contacts whatsoever in the industry. I have very little contact with people anyway, because moving around is very uncomfortable for me. All I do is making jewellery!!!

I hate to rely on a couple of people who help me on their free time because they feel sorry for me. They are not sales people, just trying to sell my pieces to friends and colleagues from time to time. It is not that I am not grateful, but I want a relationship _base_d on the quality of my work rather than on charitable sentiments!

So, please HELP if you can. I will follow any lead you indicate. Fashion jewellery leads are not as common as fabric & clothing or accessories. But there is a market for what I do, I know it; I just had no means to access it until now. I can make many things on various budget levels... I want an opportunity to put my creations out there and to know that people like them and buy them...!

thank you in advance for your time and attention!

Maia
