Hi Junior can do small runs but it does depend on his work load at that timie. If you contact him before LFW he is flat out and prioritises on his core accounts such as Betty Jackson and Paul Smith.

He is a great guy though and helps designers but you must be organised to work with him.

At Fashion Expo last year there was a talk by someone called Junior from one of the London handbag makers. He asks for drawings done with detail for machinists ("or ask us to do it"), for buyers to know what material they want and why, to add a scrap of it face-up to the drawing. They still have a few larger customers who queue-jump the small ones. It's a very time-sensitive business.

Then there was a buyer from Debenhams who just waited for people to come and woo her with "something extra". Two different worlds. When I started this I thought I'd remember the name of the handbag factory and their minimum order - it might have been The Sampling Unit but I'm not sure.
