Hi, we often hear of unsuccessful candidates for LFW but to be fair it needs to be tough as its the pinnicle of our fashion scene. Have you thought about events such as Profile (click on to the camera on the home page - click events and then click the white Profile DVD to give you a guide line). What about K2C if you are black designer, Pure, On OFF, Alternative Fashion Week, Fashion Fringe...there's a lot out there.

Normally LFW likese to have designers that are more established, have a few stockists, a good press book and obviously if its the main fashion event of the country the designers need to be sustainable...

Hi there
Does anyone have any tips for applying for London Fashion Week, I hear its quite tough
They want to see recent press features of mine and as I'm a fairly new business I haven't had much press.I design and make leather handbags and also recycled vintage fabric handbags (one offs) which I sell in my shop and online. I want to do LFW or something similar to raise profile and get wholesale orders.
Also, is there any funding I can apply for towards the cost?
