I am a cmt unit and it was hard for me to start my business. do u know what I did to opoen my account with topshop...I emailed them every day for weeks until they came to see me.

Now I have full prodcution. If you want to succeed you have to keep thinking of ways to get sales. I can help you with production if you need help.

Hi, My name is Leigh and i'm looking for some advice from people who either run their own company, importers etc or from buyers, design managers, comapny managers, anyone with the responsibility of hiring new designers,

I'm a freelance designer and have been for the last year although i've been working as a designer in the industry for the last 5 years, I'm launching a new website and am planning to advertise in drapers and basically try to take the business to a new level over the next 12 months,

What I need to know from you is how do i get into new companies? freelance is so much _base_d on word of mouth that it's often hard to get a foot in the door, so any advice from people in the position of hiring new design staff would be greatly appreciated, what do you want from a freelancer? why don't you use one at the moment? anything really that might help open doors,
