A versatile freelance designer with wide ranging experience including mens, womens and childrens wear and various specialist markets.
I have experience working as a garment technologist and freelance garment and fashion graphics designer. I am currently working mostly with new brands, developing garment designs and often providing a full design service including trend analysis, producing new designs and full collections, compiling detailed specs and designing graphics and all-over prints.
I have worked on a wide range of different product types including accessories and formal and casual-wear for mens, womens and childrens ranges, specialist markets such as lingerie, plus size, maternity, newborns, anti-bacterial fabrics and sportswear such as equestrian, swimming, climbing and cycling. I have experience with most product types including wovens, knitwear, jerseys and denim and have designed motifs and printed textiles for specific garments as well as creating ranges of motif and print designs to be used at the customers discretion. I have strong freehand drawing and illustration skills as well as a good working knowledge of Illustrator, PhotoShop and other CAD packages. I am happy working under my own initiative, either to a tight brief or translating loose instructions into a collection of designs.
