SKIN+BONES: Parallel Practices in Fashion and Architecture, opens at London's Somerset House in April 08. Focussing on the 'visual and conceptual ideas that unite fashion and architecture, dating from the Eighties to the present day', the show will feature around 200 works - among them iconic garments, three-dimensional architectural models and film footage arranged in a series of themes such as shelter, identity, folding and draping - within a new installation designed by Eva Jiricna. Boudicca, Hussein Chalayan, Comme des Garcons, Martin Margiela, Viktor & Rolf, Junya Watanabe, and Yohji Yamamoto are involved, along with Zaha Hadid, David Adjaye, Frank Gehry and Thomas Heatherwick from the architecture camp.
