The Factory

The Factory is the latest branch to the Fashion Enter family tree and one of our most promising ventures. Set to begin production in September 2010, The Factory is a state of the art mass production unit created to meet the needs of our loyal customers at asos.com and provide production facilities.

The unit consists of some of the most experienced machinists and pattern cutters in the UK who operate on a wide cross section of machinery.

The Factory’s services consist of patternmaking, toiling, first fit sampling and mass production. For Non Menmbers the Sample cutting services are £22.50 per hour. For Members the services are £18 per hour. The Factory also has Corporate rates which are £28 per hour. These costs are effective as of 30th December 2011.

Please note as of 1st February 2012 any credit card transactions carry a 2% surcharge. There must also be cleared funds in our account before the release of any goods and services.

Alongside our production facility the Workshop also houses an educational entity where courses such National Apprentice Program and Cad/Cam run on a regular basis.

Courses at the Factory

Fashion Enter is proud to be working on the first fashion and textiles apprenticeship in the UK that assists individuals aged 16+ to break into the fashion industry whilst helping employers obtain staff trained specifically for roles required in their organisations. These roles vary from patterns cutters to fabric and garment technologists and graders to name just a few. An apprentice is simply an individual learning whilst "in the job" providing the opportunity of earning whilst learning and gaining specific industry experience acting as the perfect platform to launch careers.

Cad/Cam is a one week intensive course introducing students to the Veti-Graph interactive solution to pattern construction, manipulation, grading and marker making. The Workshop is equipped with a training suite complete with 10 computers, a digitizer and plotter.

Both of these courses are run by industry professionals who can provide students with and insider view to the fashion business.

The Factory is based at Anthony Nicholas Cottage in Florentia Clothing Village, Vale Road, N4 1TD. Locate us.
