We saw two menswear shows, first up was a selection from Q.E.D, a Berlin based menswear label that presented a dark and grungy collection of wool bomber jackets, wet look pieces and harem pants for the boys. The second menswear offering came from Rozalb de Mura, an up market fashion label from Romania, which launched in 2006. Rather than black, Rozalb de Mura offered their over sized trenches, blazers, dungarees and dress-coats (with great pleat detailing) in light grey, which was light and bright for a winter season.

The womenswear designer Cecilia Mary Robson, a fellow LCF graduate showed a slightly 60's look of block panelled dresses, high waisted, calf skimming trousers, hooded capes and crop tops in bright hues. There were great playsuits and quilt detailing (which have popped up on the main shows too) and some more plastic coated pieces, again something that the more adventurous designers have been championing.

Lastly and possibly my favourite of the four was Rachel Freire, who I and other fashionistas agreed had a collection that reminded us of early McQueen. I have coined it 'futuristic bondage', for its use of straps, cut outs and plastic detailing. This was by no means commercial, but more about experimentation and I loved it. All in cream, nude and black tones this simple but solid palette allowed the pieces to shine through without being confused with complex prints or colours. I'm definitely keeping my eye on this one!
