Back in October, MP for Tottenham; David Lammy visited the Workshop to review the efforts of Fashion Enter contributing to decrease of local unemployment rates.


Stitch in Time 2010


The Stitch in Time programme is a unique project exclusive to residents in the Haringey borough. The 2 week intensive training course providing direct tuition in production, business and the design cycle as a whole is then followed by a 2 week placement at a local employer in the borough. The placement is dependent on the progress made of the student within the 2 weeks training and the direction the participant wishes to take upon the launching of their new career in fashion.

David Lammy was immensely impressed with all areas of the course and the progress the students have made back into employment after years of struggling to find a sustainable career and some having never entered the working environment. The scope of applicants wishing to attend the course has shown Fashion Enter the diverse talents and skills featured within the borough; we therefore cater for individuals across a multitude of levels to provide the best starting pack to progress in fashion.

 
Aquascutum, Jaeger
