| TIME for new habits - It just takes 90 days!!? |
If your anything like me then you love all things sweet - cakes, chocolate, crisps, anything bad for you really.. ![]() I could go on for ever discussing my bad eating habits but it is really important you don't go down the same road like me and so you need to start to break in a new habit while the sun is shining (Isn't the weather wonderful right now - How warm is it!) believe me it only takes 90 days to break in a new habit so what a great time to drink more water, eat more fruits and STOP eating all that fast food! Does it really work! It is TRUE the things we do consistently for 90 days (3 months) will become a habit that will kick in before long and become a normal everyday thing, its funny really because most of the things that we do we don't even realise it after a while, you do it without thinking and yet in the beginning how hard was it to drink a 2L bottle of water in one day? But gradually day after day you get used to it and it becomes normal to you BUT you had to work hard before that auto pilot stage kicked in after 3 months. Does it get easier! It gets easier I promise. That is why I believe and promote being forward thinking and strategic at all times because success takes time and you can't rush the process so you have to get your act together and ACT NOW - Just starting is a step even if you fail.. The motivation! How horrible is it when the sun is out and you strip back those clothes to find lumps and bumps and other defects that have accumulated while you continued to eat more and more rubbish and what benefits have you received from the extra pounds or those juicy spots nothing but heart ache and you beating yourself up about the state you are in! Well it is time to take action as of now otherwise I bet your bottom dollar you will be in the same boat next summer and the summer after next if you don't take action to do something about your state NOW - Why do we do it to ourselves? BREAK THAT HABIT - IT ONLY TAKES 90 DAYS!! The work continues!! Until then please review your Things to DO List below - Stay focused!! Things to do this week: 1) What do you do without thinking? What action do you need to take - write down 1 goal at a time and once you have masked one move on to the next. Please be honest with yourself - modeling is not just about taking photographs!!
