This is an extremely exciting competition and a fantastic opportunity for any fashion or accessory designer to have their collection produced in leather and gain exposure at the largest industry show, Clothes Show Live at the NEC in Birmingham, 5^th-9^th December 2009. There will also be a chance for the possibility of a designer working freelance for the brand.

FashionCapital.co.uk will be arranging an online voting system where FashionCapital.co.uk users and members of the public will be able to vote for their favourite design. All design entries and designer profiles will be displayed in the gallery providing exposure, press and PR for all competition entrants.

Leather will always be fashionable, but is currently high on trend and a must for coming seasons. Established Pittards – World Class leather produces ‘innovative leathers which are differentiated from competing products by their performance properties quality and consistency and which are backed by the highest standards of customer service.’

It's great to be working with Pittards - World Class Leather on such a great initiative as this.

Just this week Fashion-Enter designer, Belles of London, leather pieces were featured on Asos.com homepage, yet more proof that leather is currently a fashion must. To inspire first drawings look to leather accessories like bags, leggings and boots for inspiration.
