My name is Shpresa Zuqolli, currently I attend Eastbury Comprehensive and im studying Textiles Drama and History, but im more interested in textiles.

I am currently doing 2 weeks work experience at Fashion Enter Boutique, Barking.

I picked Fashion Enter because i thought it would help me with my own future career. I would be working amongst some amazing clothes and designs, what customers like, how to make different garments and also how to customise clothes. It would basically teach me more about the fashion industry.

In the future id like to either go to a college for fashion & design or drama. One of my favourite designers was Alexander McQueen, his designs were so free and open and different to others they all looked cool in their own way he always had something new and unique to offer

In school whilst studying textiles we’ve done a mixture for different things for example we made a t-shirt, pillow, bag and currently were in the process of making African party outfits using African fabric but to a modern style also we have sketchbooks that we’ve been doing initial designs and design developments in. we’ve also went to Birmingham for the clothes show live. In school we’ve used batik, appliqué fabric paints and fabric pens and we’ve also used a sewing machines to sew our pillow cases together
