Seasonal mania, snow and chocolate fest shenanigans – it’s all happening in Bath.The last few weeks Emma, our grad intern, and I have had Christmas windows and Christmas merchandising on the brain. The plan was to transform our mannequins into full time party girls with frocks to suit all tastes and budgets.

We stuck with a silver and red colour scheme in one window and silver and black in the other. The trimmings were provided by friends, family and nature. Holly from my back garden was sprayed silver and my Mum donated a Christmas tree. Also glamming up the windows are some decorations courtesy of ‘December 25^th’ – a festive shop in Bath that’s open all year round, thanks to Emma knowing the owner.

The overall look is understated but effective with the clothes and accessories doing the talking.

In window 1 from left to right: Avsh Alom Gur satin twisted dress in steel, Liquorish red strapless gown and Felder Felder metallic shift dress. The cabinet features blinging bangles by Seema, jewellery by Jolita, leather goods by Gwendolyn Carrie and a statement necklace by Akong London.

In window 2 from left to right: sparkly leggings by Emma Cook, evening jacket by PPQ and sequined top from Belles. Full-length crystal embellished dress by Zoe Boomer, black cropped jacket from Osman and finally a tux-style dress by Jean Pierre Braganza. Accessories come courtesy of Gwendolyn Carrie, Atalanta Weller and a beaded cashmere top by Goat.

The look was finished with some glam eye masks and headbands – all that’s left to do now is to crack open the vino and go on a chocoholic frenzy as the Choc festival is about to commence this Saturday 4^th Dec.
