The new Wove collections have been designed by 38-year-old Hawa, who has been designing and making clothes for other people since she was 14 years old. Battersea-born, Hawa, was inspired to become a fashion designer by her Sierra Leonian mother who made clothes for herself and her three daughters. The Wove label creates couture and ready to wear clothing for all occasions from work - weddings - film premieres. Wove designs women's wear from sizes 8 - 18. In an assortment of fabrics from casual to special occasion wear. Wove also has a small range of accessories, which include - scarves, bags and hats. Wove prices range from £20 for PPP t-shirts to Wedding Dresses £5,500 Wove's has a t-shirt range called ‘Puff Puff Pickin' TM©, it's name is based on west African culture & food.
