Maria Grachvogel’s design ethic is to create dresses that make real women from a size 6 to a size 20 feel fabulous in her designs.

The collection had garments to suit most shapes.

With deep V necklines and long, sweeping maxi dresses this was a grown up collection.

There was little embellishment and detail in the silk gowns but with the bright colour palette and smooth ruffles at the shoulder and waist it wasn’t needed.

There was a lot of draping, exaggerated puffed sleeves and smooth lines.

The maxi dresses nipped in at the waist and were incredibly feminine in a gorgeous ocean landscape print. There were a few shorter numbers, a cute kaftan and a gorgeous mustard dress which was a more simple style and without much shape for a feminine figure.

The Maria Grachvogel collection is utterly gorgeous and accessible to the average customer with lumps, bumps and a real figure. There wasn’t anything show stopping or new brought to the table but this collection obviously nurtures the female form and I think that is admirable in this dog eat dog industry.
