Music and television stars graced the 2012 Brits Awards Red Carpet as they displayed their unique styles in an array of multi-coloured outfits. A black dress trend seemed to occur at yesterdays Brit awards, as stars such as Adele wore the classic black dress. Award winner Adele, looked classy as she stepped out in a trademark black dress before performing later at the ceremony.

Following this trend, include stars Fearne Cotton and Victoria Justice. Fearne Cotton dressed simply and elegantly in black and white, yet still with her trademark rock look. In contrast, a glamorous gown worn by Nicole Scherzinger appeared on the red carpet. Eliza Doolittle walked the carpet in white figure hugging Lycra showed off her amazing figure, with high wedged heels; whilst R&B Singer Rihanna wore an elegant sequin gold Givenchy dress, paired with an unusual choice of brown leather gloves.

 White dresses hit as radio star Lisa Snowdon and fiery red head Florence Welch's Alexander McQueen took to the red carpet in white and ivory cream.

An array of style was shown yesterday as Abbey Clancy opted for a small pink belted mini-dress in a retro style; Anna Calvi arrived showing the boy-meets-girl look, matched with red lipstick complimenting her pale complexion.

 Many stars including Nicole Scherzinger and Kylie Mynogue chose brightly colored blocks that attracted attention whilst walking down the carpet. Holly Willoughby paired a knee length dress with a plunging neckline; with black-platform heels and loose waves in her hair- to create a simple but effective look.

Ed sheeran dressed to impress as he arrived in a navy smart suit and black tie. Alongside other well dressed stars such as Lana Del Rey in a Vivienne Westwood creation and long time star Kylie in a dazzling blue frock, a sophisticated choice.

One of the two dresses Jessie J wore was a transparent red gown. Similar to Jessie’s, Christina Perri wore a long red dress, with transparent top. Pixie Lott glided the red carpet dressed in a black corset dress; ringlet curls to the side and statement red lipstick to compliment the Dolce & Gabbana label. Alexandra Burke wore a distinctive unique dress, to say the least, inspired by what seems ancient Rome.

X factor bands One direction and Little Mix appeared on the red carpet in usual form; one direction ‘suited-and-booted’ all in smart attire; the majority of little mix with a more casual, short dress approach, with jessy in patterned leggings and neon pink ‘look-at-me’ shoes.
