Welcome to the fashion forest of Arboria as fiction turns into reality!

Ashley Isham brings ostensibly villainous princess Aura and her beloved posse of female warriors to the forefront of our imagination.

From evil to medieval we see the show progress from the harsh structured silhouettes and futuristic fabrication to soft and elegant evening gowns.

Purple, grey and blue tinted plastic skirts trimmed with gold and black shredded fringing create the sense of the cyborg and bring about a sense of fiction to the theme. Whilst, the beautifully crafted and sculpted armoured shaped jackets, sharp peaked shoulder lines and stiff extended stand collars done in heavily sequenced metallic jacquard and rose tweed bring out the warrior.

A majestic colour palette of deep purples, shimmery gold’s, burnt oranges and black sets the scene for the royal brigade. Princess Aura dressed in a figure hugging bodice flaring out into a beautiful fishtail that sparkles from the distance as she surrounds herself with her female devotee’s looking stunningly elegant, draped in soft liquid jerseys, chiffons and satins encrusted with asymmetrically placed jewels.

The fantasy element of the artificial characters is captured well in the couture pieces but looses effect in the more subdued ready to wear jersey dresses. Nevertheless the create mind and craftsmanship of Ashley Isham continues to shine through.
