Hi all

Recently we had asos.com come to our factory called The Workshop in Haringey to take pictures for a magazine article they were running. Asos.com had received requests from their consumers asing for more information about how a garment becomes a garment so we thought what a great idea lets do the same!

We are now working on a new section of the site called the Garment Life Cycle that shows the entire design process from just an idea to actual garment delivery if you received an order. This includes the market research, planning, business formation, first fit patern, grading, sealing, docket process, cabbage, triming and sorucing - you name it we have got it covered.

This part of the site - the Garment Life cycle - actualy combines the whole of the www.fashioncapital.co.uk site together in one easy to follow diagram and will be the last major project of www.fashioncapital.co.uk. We will then spend the time perfecting the areas on the site and updating daily on all the sections of the site such as Manufacturers Online Showroom, the Knowledge Bank, Trends etc.

www.fashioncapital.co.uk has been going since 2001 and is todays major protal for the fashion industry.

this is a huge job...it is combining all the parts of this site onto a garment life cycle so its taking time. The first patt is complete and will go live in time for this Wednesday for the newsiwre but it will be constantly updated.
