Sourcing manufacturing internationally? 1 Year, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi there,
Can anyone give point me in the right direction for advice on sourcing manufacturing internationally? Is there anyone i can contact for advice? Or any good books to read on the subject?

Also, any advice on the best places to source fabric too, would be much appreciated.

Thanks in anticipation

Emily

Hi,

Well i can't help you in terms of sourcing internationally its something that i'd like to know myself too.

But the 2 places that I always go to source for fabrics in London are...

1. Goldhawk Rd in Shepherds Bush nearest tube is Goldhawk Rd Station or Shepherds Bush Market station, they have quite a few fabrics shop on that road and you get a good variety. Each one speciallises on something different.

2. Berwick Street in Soho again a few on that road. My fave is Cloth House (www.clothhouse.com/) they have two shops on berwick street. A tad expensive but really amazing choices of fabrics.

Hope this helps.
