i have a beautiful 1980s viscose low scoop back with bead design like swirls on the front , i wasthinking o reproducing it would i be better off finding somewhere here in London or sending it abroad ? how do i protect myself abroad when i send a picture , many thanks ....

HELLO I THINK IT IS BEST TO FIND A PATTERN CUTTER (THAT IS A PERSON WHO WILL TAKE YOUR PICTURE AND THE SIZE YOU WANT INTO A PAPER PATTERN,
THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO FIND A SAMPLE MACHINIST TO CUT THE FABRIC OUT WITH THE PATTERN THEN SAW IT TOGETHER.
WHEN YOU HAVE SOMETHING MADE IN LONDON YOU CAN SORT OUT ANY PROBLEM THAT MY ACCER.
IF YOU SEND IT ABROAD YOU MAY HAVE PROBLEMS WITH COMMUNICATION AND IF THEY DO YOUR SAMPLE AND SEND IT TO YOU AND IF THEY MAKE IT UP WRONG THEN IT MAY BE TO LATE TO FIX

You'll find freelancers at Fabricly where you can submit a request for having your dress duplicated and see offers from machinists, freelancers and pattern cutters. Sending it abroad might be a bit too much if it's just one piece, there are plenty of great places to have it done in London.
