TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THE FACE OF BARKING AND DAGENHAM MODELLING

COMPETITION

1. This competition is open to residents of the Barking and Dagenham borough, except direct

family members, employees of Fashion Enter Ltd, or anyone else professionally associated

with the competition.

2. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to

abide by these rules.

3. To enter the competition, entrants must be over 16 years old. Entrants must submit 1

photograph; the photograph must be previously unpublished and not have been enhanced or

altered by any means. It is not permitted to submit photographs of another person. All

submitted photographs must be free of any copyright and this remains the responsibility of the

applicant.

4. Entries that are found to contravene these terms and conditions shall be null and void,

regardless of the stage of the competition. In the event of a short-listed or the winning entry

being declared null and void, the judges shall select an alternative entry.

5. Entries must be submitted through the website application form which can be found at

www.fashioncapital.co.uk and at the Fashion Enter Boutique, Unit 32, Vicarage Fields

Shopping, Ripple Road, Barking, 1GII 8DQ. Incomplete, illegal, misdirected or late entries will

not be accepted. Fashion Enter accepts no responsibility for any such errors.

6. Only one entry per person. Late, illegible, incomplete or defaced entries shall not be

accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries.

7. All entries shall be judged by a panel of judges who shall select a short-list of 50 from

which 20 shall go through to the grand final. The judges' decision shall be final and no

correspondence shall be entered into.

8. The short-listed entrants shall be notified prior to the semi final event and then at the grand

final.

9. The semi finals and grand finals are projected to take place in August 2009, respectively. Fashion Enter reserves the right to vary these dates and winners will be notified in advance of any such variation.

10. By entering this competition, the entrant agrees that the promoter shall have the full rights

to publish the entrant's photographs in any of its publications and in any media now known or

hereinafter invented, including in its newspapers, website, television and other media sources

11. The prizes as described are available on the date of publication and are non-transferable.

There is no cash alternative.

12. Events may occur that render the competition itself or the awarding of the prize impossible

due to reasons beyond the control of the promoter and accordingly the promoter may at its

absolute discretion vary or amend the competition and the entrant agrees that no liability shall

attach to the promoter as a result thereof.

13. The provision of the prizes is the responsibility of Fashion Enter.

14. If the contract or other prizes are declined or a winner forfeits the contract and/or prize

under these terms and conditions, Fashion Enter reserves the right to select an alternative

winner/s or runners up.

15. Entrants must accept these terms and conditions before being accepted as a contestant.

By uploading their details entrants will be deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions
